Identity verification service

Know exactly who you are serving.

A hosted identity check for the applications that hand out money, pensions, accounts and SIM cards. We read the document, prove the person is really there, match the two — and hand your system a signed answer, usually inside a couple of minutes.

One server-to-server call opens a session. The result comes back as a signed webhook.

How it works

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

The applicant meets a hosted page that already carries your branding. Everything between the link and the answer is ours.

Open a session

Your backend posts a return URL and your own reference, and gets back a hosted link with an expiry. Send the applicant to it.

Read the document

National ID, passport or electronic ID. The barcode and machine-readable zone are decoded in the browser and cross-checked against the printed details.

Prove the person

A selfie is scored for liveness — a photograph of a photograph does not pass — then matched against the portrait on the document.

Take the answer

A signed webhook carries the decision to your endpoint, retried with backoff over about two hours. Anything flagged waits for a human first.

Capabilities

Every check keeps its own receipt.

Each verification stores the scores it produced and the thresholds that were applied to it — so a decision can be explained months later, not just repeated.

Liveness, scored

Every attempt gets a score, checked against the pass mark set for your application and kept on the record.

Face match, one to one

The selfie against the portrait on the document, with the distance stored beside the threshold that decided it.

Documents read, not typed

PDF417 barcodes, passport MRZ and OCR — cross-checked, so an altered card disagrees with itself.

Duplicate identities

The same person under a second document is caught on the way in, and parks for review instead of quietly approving.

Proof of address

An uploaded bill or statement is read for its text and filed against the profile, when your policy asks for one.

Desktop to phone

No camera on the PC? A QR code moves the capture to the applicant's phone and brings the result back to the same session.

Reusable verification

Someone already on the register re-verifies with a live selfie alone — no document to scan again — when the application allows it.

Webhooks that keep trying

Signed with HMAC-SHA256, retried with backoff across eight attempts — about two hours — and every attempt visible in the desk.
